The easiest, quickest, 2-ingredient Homemade Chocolate Sauce; and Homemade Milkshake

We've been having a heatwave of late.  It's been scorching hot in the last two weeks, so I thought of making some cold milkshake for the kids as a treat, especially when they come back from their evening playtime in the park.

Avocado Back-to-Back : Avocado Mousse with Gula Melaka

This dessert is really bad for me.  It combines four of my favourite ingredients, so I ended up eating triple double portion.  I go weak at gula melaka, so I kept stealing extra spoonfuls to flood my mousse.  If Gasing Hill was next to my house, I could have sprinted up and down the entire track several times just on a sugar high LOL!

Christmas Menu : Entree - Roast Pumpkin Fries with Herb Yogurt Dip

This is a very easy starter to prepare.  Pumpkin fries is a much better alternative to potato fries as they have more nutrients than the good ol spud (and a lower carbo index too).

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

If you have been following my blog for a while, you would know that I am no baker.  I'm better at cooking dishes than baking cakes and pastries.

They say baking is a science.  It works on precise measurements and temperature.  Tamper with it, and you will be courting disaster.

Herb Lamb Meatballs with Yogurt Dip

This recipe was originally called Meatballs Nirvana, sourced from Allrecipes.  Well, it didn't quite send me into nirvana (thankfully!) but these are very yummy nonetheless.

Chocolate and Irish Cream Frozen Yogurt

Did i hear you said "Decadent!"?

Yea, my thoughts exactly :)

Then again, adding yogurt balances the health scale somewhat, especially since I made it with my homemade yogurt.  So this is really a decadently healthy dessert.  A classic oxymoron, if there is one.

Homemade Yogurt - the Ultimate, Fuss Free Way

UPDATED on 11April 2016

Note: Since I posted this, I have had quite a lot of queries and feedback on the finer points of making homemade yogurt.  Based on all this discussion, I have added in some new photos for better illustration as well as some specific points on the cooking process.  Hope this helps!

For someone who loves her yogurt with a passion, it has never occurred to me to make my own yogurt until a few years back. I came across many blogs that sang the praises of homemade yogurt, and thought what a great idea that was.

Juice Boost: Post #1 - Blueberry Smoothie with a Difference

Much has been said and written about the health benefits of juicing.  Our family started a regular juicing routine when we bought a Ladyship super blender last year.
