Hotel review: Doubletree Hilton, KL

Each year, hubby and I will plan for several staycations for the family - just short 1-2 nights stay at a nice hotel somewhere in KL or PJ.  We enjoyed these breaks as it doesn't involve long outstation drive and I don't have to tax my braincells about all the things that need to be packed.  Forgot something?  Home is just 10 minutes away!

Hotel Review: Hilton KL Sentral

Sometime in June, we utilised our complimentary room voucher at the Hilton KL Sentral.  These one night city "staycations" are a good break for us to get-away from the daily routine yet without having to do the long drives.

A Weekend in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - Part 1

Hubby and I went to Ho Chi Minh (HCM) last week for a short holiday without our 6 year old kiddo.  While we had a total chill and pig out break, our son was having a ball at a friend's house for 3 nights.  So everyone's happy :)

A overnighter at Westin KL

Part of our Starwood membership is a complimentary one night stay at the Westin KL.  We had pre-booked this months earlier, forgotten all about it and then was reminded of it by a courtesy email the hotel sent - thank goodness!

Hotel Review: Hatten Hotel, Melaka

Hi folks, here's the first post for our new category on Hotel Reviews.  Since hubby and I love to travel, I thought it would be fun to post on some of the hotels that we have stayed in.  I am sure we all like to find out about good (and not-so-good) hotels from those who have actually stayed there, information which would definitely come in handy when planning our holiday accomodation.

Hatten is Melaka's newest hotel.  We recently had our cell group retreat here, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The hotel is so new that construction is actually still ongoing - it is about 90% completed.
