A 2-in-1 Post - Chicken with Red Rice Wine Yeast









 
My dear hubby is a Foochow, I am a Cantonese (the Foochows and Cantonese people are different dialect groups of ethnic Chinese whose early ancestors migrated to Malaysia).  However, in all our years of marriage, he has never requested me to cook any Foochow dishes.

Hi all, we are looking at a long weekend coming up, Monday being a public holiday.  Yes, Malaysia has one of the highest number of public holidays in the world, ranking at #7.

Just last week a friend who follows my blog commented "Esther, can you post some really super duper easy recipes for busy working mothers like us, who come home from work already half brain dead, but still want to serve something nice for the family".  She called these the "no-brainer" recipes.  Something that can be whipped up in less than 30minutes.
